The USDA is hosting Patrick Leahy Farm to School Grantee Gathering in Omaha, Nebraska on September 10-12, 2024.  The Farm to School Grantee Gathering is an annual event that brings together newly awarded Farm to School grantees from across the country, Food and Nutrition Service staff, and national farm to school partners. This Gathering is designed to bring you and other new grantees together to provide the resources you need to get your grant off to a strong start. You will learn best practices, network with other grantees, and hear about resources available from important strategic partners in promoting farm to school.

The purpose of the Farm to School Grantee Gathering is to ensure that awarded Farm to School grantees are well prepared to begin implementing their projects, which will ultimately strengthen farm to school and local and regional food systems across the nation.

Locally Grown Farm to School celebrates the fact that each farm to school program in each community is unique, reflective of that community's strengths, values, goals, and dreams. However, we are all tied together by our common passion for this movement..

*Grantees, speakers, and exhibitors will pay the regular, late and/or one day registration. Only USDA FNS Staff will pay the $700 fee.

Payments can be made via credit card, check, ACH/electronic check, or wire transfer.

All payments must be received by September 1, 2024.

Registration Process and Payment Methods 

Payment is expected at the time of registration and conference registration will not be confirmed until the registration process has been completed and the payment has been received and processed. Event Source Professionals Inc. (ESP) cannot be responsible for your spam filters blocking your confirmation email. Please check for a confirmation email before committing to travel arrangements. If you do not receive your registration confirmation email within 24 hours, please reach out to [email protected]. 

Registrations received by August 16, the early bird price will be confirmed. Registrations received after August 16 will be charged the late registration fee.   

Accommodations 

Accommodation costs are not included in the conference registration fee. Attendees are responsible for making their own travel and lodging arrangements. Please refer to the Hotel & Travel Page for instructions on how to book a hotel room reservation at the Hilton Omaha Hotel. Hotel rooms are available at $115/night plus taxes and fees. The room rate is subject to availability until Tuesday, August 20, 2024.

Personal Property 

USDA/ESP accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property at the Farm to School Grantee Gathering.  

Photography/ Video 

By completing this registration, you understand that you may be photographed, taped or recorded during the Farm to School Grantee Gathering and that you grant USDA permission to use your image or voice in all forms and media as permitted by law. You waive the right to inspect or approve versions of your image or voice or the written copy that may be used in connection with either.

To completely cancel your registration, please contact [email protected] by August 31, 2024 by 11:59 PM EST. Registrations will be canceled and a refund issued, less a $25 processing fee.

Registrations canceled after August 31, 2024 will forfeit the full registration fee.
