DON SOFFER EXERCISE TRAIL

Open 24 hours a day, year-round. The Trail is free and open to the public. The 3.1 mile exercise path circles our JW Marriott Turnberry Miami Golf Course along Country Club Drive. The Trail consists of a 10-foot wide paved ADA accessible path, landscaped with an abundance of shade trees complete with ground lighting, benches, chilled water fountains, trash receptacles and crosswalks.

AVENTURA MALL

Miami’s definitive shopping destination, and one of the top shopping centers in the nation with a mix of over 300 luxury boutiques, including Anthropologie, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, and Zara. With a wide array of shops, Aventura Mall offers over 50 dining options, including Treats Food Hall. This hot-spot also has a 24-screen AMC movie theater, and the Arts Aventura Mall program, showcasing 20 museum-quality masterpieces.

The JW Marriott Turnberry offers two legendary 18-hole championship golf courses.  Home to LPGA and PGA events, these courses offer a risk and reward scenario at nearly every hole. 

You’ll be challenged by creeks that crisscross several fairways and lagoons that creep into landing areas; not to mention the pink flamingos that nest on Lake Julius – named for Julius Boros, US Open Champion and our first Director of Golf.  Golf at Turnberry even features newly implemented Tif Eagle greens that provide a consistent green speed.

• Waiver must be signed online prior to arriving at the marina for check-in.
• To ensure a safe ride, the captain will take the sea conditions into consideration before going into the Atlantic Ocean and/or reaching speeds of 40 mph.
• Per Coast Guard regulations, life vests will be on board the boat.

• Waters could be choppy.  Tour not recommended for pregnant women, or those with bad backs.

Little Havana - the heart of Miami's Cuban diaspora - is part of what makes Miami such a dynamic cultural destination. The neighborhood is centered around Calle Ocho (Southwest Eighth Street), a vibrant thoroughfare lined with Latin inspired restaurants, bakeries, fruit stands, cigar shops, rum bars, art galleries, and music venues. It's also where Towne Park guests will find the famed Maximo Gomez Park (known as Domino Park), where locals gather to talk politics over heated games of dominoes.

The street is lined with murals and other artwork, from the mosaic tiles near Domino Park depicting classic symbols of Cuban heritage - cigars, musical instruments and tropical fruit - to walls covered with portraits of Cuban legends, including revolutionary poet Jose Marti and beloved singer Celia Cruz.

One of the best ways to dig into Cuban culture is through its food. Whether it is a pilgrimage to the classic, family owned Versailles or paying a visit to one of Little Havana's other top Cuban restaurants, participants are going to want to sample everything from strong, sweet Cuban coffee to the savory Cuban sandwich.

After lunch, Towne Park guests will head over to view the iconic Wynwood Walls. Since opening in 2009, Wynwood Walls has evolved into a globally renowned street art museum whose impact will be felt for generations. These remarkable walls have transformed the definition of modern art and become a career defining moment for contributing artists, all while helping to make Wynwood one of the world's most celebrated urban revitalization projects and an oasis for cutting edge creativity.

Prepare your body to receive the maximum benefits of any spa treatment by arriving one hour early to journey through âme’s signature Wellness Circuit.  Located in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms, the Wellness Circuit enables you to make the most of the earth’s natural healing resources.

First Stop: Aroma and Music Therapy Steam Room (uses natural scents and essential oils)

Second Stop: Himalayan Salt Room (offers relief from respiratory health concerns, skin conditions and aids in recovery from surgery) 

Third Stop: Signature Swiss Shower (5 minute full-body experience delivers different water temperatures and pressures simultaneously)

Fourth Stop: A 50-minute treatment – a signature massage (Friday) or a rejuvenating facial, body scrub or wrap (Thursday only).
