THE BEST OF SAN ANTONIO TOUR
San Antonio is the most visited city in Texas! From modern museums and old world missions and architectural wonders, this city is bursting with cultural history, character and charm.
Today’s first stop is Historic Market Square, also known as “El Mercado”, the largest Mexican market in the United States. Enjoy the sights and flavors of old Mexico in this 3-block vibrantly festive plaza and find authentic Talavera pottery, exotic curios and handcrafted works of art at over 100 locally owned shops.
Lunch will be provided by San Antonio’s renowned Mi Tierra Café, a favorite locally owned authentic Mexican café serving San Antonio for over 60 years.
After lunch, guests are welcomed to the San Antonio Riverwalk. Also known as Paseo del Rio, it is the largest urban ecosystem in the nation offering 15 miles of meandering trails and lush landscape along the San Antonio River. Step aboard a River Cruiser for an exclusive and entertaining narrative of the rich history of the San Antonio Riverwalk, covering 1.5 miles of the river.
BREWSTILLERY TOUR
The tour will begin with lunch at the Southerleigh. Southerleigh boasts a curated, seasonally shifting menu influence by the coastal class of chef Jeff Balfour’s upbringing in Galveston, Texas – married with the comfort of southern cuisine. Southerleigh houses a custom manufactured brewery designed by Portland Kettle Works and brings brewing back to Pearl offering 15 different beers on tap. Get a sneak peek of the hip scene at the Pearl District while enjoying lunch.
After lunch, we’ll head to the Alamo Beer Company. Since 2014, Alamo Beer Company has proudly brewed the only beer to bear the Alamo name since the start of Prohibition in 1919. Guests will enjoy a tour of the brewery, finished with a tasting at their beautiful outdoor space. There will be lawn games available for them to play and mingle.
Lastly, we will visit the Ranger Creek Brewstillery. At Ranger Creek Brewstillery, enjoy a tour of the facility and a tasting. Ranger Creek is San Antonio’s award-winning “brewstillery”; producing a range of beers, bourbon, rye, and single malt whiskies. Learn how they make beer and bourbon at their intimate venue along with enjoying their large tasting room and Beer Garden.
