DESCRIPTION OF ACTIVITIES

 

Please review the activity descriptions below for Saturday, April 20.  We have planned options to appeal to every taste.  All activity start times are after Saturday’s Winner Circle Roundtable Breakfast with Andrew Kerin.

As you complete the online registration form, you will see a section in which you can select 1st and 2nd choice activities for you and your guest.  You may may each participate in one Towne Park sponsored activity in addition to full access to the resort amenities.  Please note that all activities are subject to minimum and maximum attendance. If not enough people choose your first choice activity, you will be moved to your second choice.

DAY OF LEISURE AT HOTEL

Or escape to the third-level Ocean Sun Deck, offering the atmosphere of a private club. Find your favorite spot beside the two horizon-edge pools which are framed by daybeds and uninterrupted Atlantic Ocean views.

GOLF

Jacaranda Golf Club

Escape to Jacaranda Golf Club, a tropical paradise for a moderate-difficulty golf experience amidst beautiful lakes and mature trees.  Jacaranda is South Florida’s premier semi-private golf facility, featuring 36 holes of championship golf that are beautifully maintained throughout the year. The East & West courses, both rated four stars by Golf Digest, weave through a variety of ponds and canals, lending a tropical feel throughout.

Tee Times range from 11 AM - 1:15 PM.

THINGS TO KNOW

  • 12 miles from hotel. Shuttle Bust Transportation will be provided.
  • Moderate difficulty course.
  • Rental Clubs are available upon request.
  • Participants must wear closed-toe shoes. Golfers may wear any closed-toe shoes as long as they do not have metal spikes.
  • Bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera.

EVERGLADES AIRBOAT RIDES AT EVERGLADES HOLIDAY PARK

Embark on an exhilarating airboat adventure through the heart of the Everglades, spotting alligators, exotic birds, and breathtaking landscapes - a thrilling escape into Florida's wild side.  Your Group Adventure includes 60-minute tour with a 20-minute live alligator show, along with the exciting Animal Encounter Experience (45 min up close and uncaged with 5 different animals ranging from alligators, snakes, skunks, raccoons, pigs, tortoises and more)! Professional group photo included.

      THINGS TO KNOW

  • Boat departure time is 1 pm.
  • Located 32 miles from hotel -- approximately 45 minute drive from hotel.
  • Ground Transportation is included. 
  • 2 hour excursion
  • Each boat can accommodate 20-25 passengers.
  • Participants will not enter the water on this tour.
  • Waiver must be signed online prior to arriving at the marina for check-in.
  • Per Coast Guard regulations, life vests will be on board the boat.
  • Bring sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, camera.
  • Lunch will be provided at the Everglades dining facility.

SEGWAY TOUR

Glide effortlessly through Fort Lauderdale's vibrant streets and scenic waterfront on a Segway tour, experiencing iconic landmarks, hidden gems, and breathtaking views in a unique and unforgettable way!

"Venice of America" Tour

Check out the "Venice of America" in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale. You will see celebrity mansions including homes owned by the Miami Dolphins, as well as breathtaking multi-million-dollar mega yachts! Learn history & fun facts about Fort Lauderdale and the Segway!

Also enjoy a delightful Nature & Wildlife experience with sea turtles, blue herons, iguanas and our local ducklings!

Appointments may be booked on Saturday, based on availability. All treatments are 50 minutes long.
