We have secured a $158/night plus tax room rate at the Hotel Alba Tampa for all ICARE Academy participants.  This rate is the government per diem for Tampa, FL. 

Participants will book their hotel rooms directly with the hotel via the ONLINE BOOKING LINK.  If you have trouble, please call 1-800-445-8667 and ask for the group code ICARE ACADEMY room block). We recommend that you book your room for arrival on Monday, January 13 and departure on Thursday, January 16 or Friday, January 17, depending on your travel arrangements.  (The ICARE Academy classroom sessions end at 4:30 PM on Thursday, January 16).

Should you need an additional night's stay, the hotel will honor the group rate for additional nights pending availability.

Guest rooms include: complimentary wifi, Keurig coffee & tea maker, in room safe, full-size hair dryer and iron & ironing board.  All rooms are Non Smoking.

Parking:  Self Parking parking is $5/day plus tax per vehicle.  Valet is $14/day.

AIR TRAVEL

Please do not purchase air travel tickets until you have received a confirmation of your registration.

Participants should plan to arrive into the area on Monday, January 13, 2020 and plan to depart on flights at 7:00 PM or later on Thursday, January 16 or anytime on Friday, January 17, 2020.  

Tampa (TPA) Airport is recommended because it is the closest airport (3.6 miles) to the conference hotel. 

The hotel offers complimentary airport service.

AIRPORT TRANSPORTATION

The hotel offers complimentary hotel shuttle service to and from the airport.  Once you collect your baggage from baggage claim, please head to either end of baggage claim to the Hotel Shuttle Zone.  Be sure to look at the signs above your head to note in which Hotel Shuttle Zone you are in (blue or red signs above escalators on way to baggage claim).  Call the hotel directly at 813-289-1950 and ask for the shuttle van to be dispatched.  The front desk will ask what hotel shuttle zone you are located in.  Please do not call the hotel until you have collected all your baggage. 
Shuttles run starting 2 hours before the first morning flight until the last flight lands each night.
