TRAVEL & DESTINATION INFORMATION

PASSPORTS

All U.S. citizens, including infants, need a valid passport to enter The Bahamas by air. Check out the US State Department website for more passport information https://travel.state.gov/en/passports.html

Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your return date.  We recommend having a passport that is valid through July 31, 2027.

Ensure you are looking at the official U.S. government (.gov) website for passport applications and renewals. Currently passport fees are as follows:

  • First-Time Adult Applicants (16+): $165
  • First-Time Child Applicants (Under 16): $135
  • Adult Renewals: $130

For full, current entry requirements, visa policy, and document rules, see the U.S. State Department's Bahamas country information page  for entry and visa guidance.

Guests of The Bahamas are required to present a valid passport and must complete an immigration form. A passport is mandatory for all air travel; passport cards are not accepted for international air travel.

AIRPORT LOCATION

Flights should be booked into Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS).
