Dr. Wilson spent 23 years as a school nutrition director, 5 years as Executive Director for Institute of Child Nutrition, 2 years as USDA Deputy Under Secretary of FNS, and is currently the Executive Director for the Urban School Food Alliance. Katie shares her expertise domestically and internationally and is on the Board of Directors for EatingCity.org. She has received many awards including The Dr. Katie Wilson Lifetime Achievement Award, holds a Bachelors Degree in dietetics, a Masters Degree in food science and nutrition and a PhD in foodservice and lodging management and is considered an expert in child nutrition.
