Alfonso Rosales is a technical officer for medical devices and in vitro diagnostics (IVDs) at the Pan-American Health Organization. He works in the Unit of Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies within the Department of Innovation, Access to Medicines, and Health Technologies. With a background in biomedical engineering, Alfonso has over 14 years of combined national and international experience. His major areas of expertise include health technology assessment (HTA), health technology management (HTM), big data analysis, and the quality assurance and regulation of medical devices.
