Maria Cecilia joined the Public Health Institute of Chile (ISP) in 2009 as a premarket reviewer, where she has involved in the development and implementation of a harmonized regulation for medical devices in Chile.
Since 2017 she leads the team responsible of medical devices and IVDs registration and contributes with the development of guidance documents and trainings about premarket topics.
Also, she has represented the Chilean regulatory authority in different international meetings such as APEC, GHWP, IMDRF and PAHO.
Maria Cecilia is a Pharmacist and holds a Master´s Degree in Public Health, from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
