Fatemeh, based in Washington D.C., serves as director of regulatory policy, international and harmonization, partnering with regulatory professionals across Medtronic. She is dedicated to advancing global regulatory harmonization and convergence. Her collaborative efforts extend to spearheading initiatives to foster a favorable regulatory environment to expediate access. Her prior experience includes leading U.S. regulatory policy at BD, along with key positions at the FDA's CDRH. Here, she served as a Lead Scientific Reviewer and led the 510(k) review program, significantly contributing to essential guidance documents and policies. Fatemeh holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the George Washington University.
